JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Position

The position is located in the Property Management Department, where we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's buildings, local supply through new construction and renovations, leasing, strategic space planning, and implementation of construction and land projects.

Do you want to help create sustainable and functional premises for the municipality's operations? We are now looking for an engaged property manager who wants to contribute to the development of our properties and be an important link between property owners and operations.

As a property manager with us, you have a central role in ensuring that the municipality's operations have functional, cost-effective, and long-term sustainable premises. You work independently with responsibility for your own property portfolio and have close dialogue with our tenants, which consist of the municipality's various administrations.

You act as an advisor and contact person, identifying needs and developing solutions that support the operations' missions. The work is varied and spans both strategic and operational issues.

Your main responsibilities:

In the role of property manager, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for lease agreements and conduct negotiations
• Work with space coordination and adjustments based on the needs of the operations
• Participate in and drive issues related to new investments and maintenance
• Follow up on finances, budgets, and forecasts within your area of responsibility
• Collaborate closely with construction/project management, maintenance planning, and finance functions

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Have a relevant academic degree in economics, law, or engineering, or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer.
• Have good computer skills and master the Office suite.
• Express yourself well in speech and writing.
• Have a B driver's license.

It is meritorious if you:

• Have experience in negotiations and working with lease agreements.
• Have documented education and/or experience in rental law, property economics, and construction technology.
• Have experience working in public operations.

In addition to the above requirements, great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

You are analytical and self-driven with strategic thinking. You are used to taking initiative, driving processes, and thrive on responsibility. Your communication skills are good, both in speech and writing.

You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships and feel engaged in developing the municipality's property portfolio in collaboration with the operations.
